A local small business had to terminate its controller due to improper accounting practices. As with most small businesses, the company did not have anyone on staff who was able to step in right away and perform the daily tasks formerly done by the ex-controller.
They contacted me to help them while they searched for a new controller. Having an interim CFO or CEO can really provide a small business the time they need to find a highly qualified candidate and not be rushed to find a "warm body" to fill the role.
As an interim CFO, you can count on me to be there to assist you with the day-to-day financial affairs of your company.
